Founder

With over 35 years of legal experience, Hussien Shabaneh is the founder and principal attorney of Shabaneh Law Firm. He has built a distinguished career in criminal, civil, and commercial law, earning a reputation for strategic insight, deep regional knowledge, and unwavering dedication to justice.

Mr. Shabaneh serves as Assistant Secretary General of the Arab Lawyers Union and holds key roles in regional legal bodies such as Mediterranean Lawyers. With decades of experience, he has built an extensive network of legal, political, and institutional connections across the Middle East and Europe, allowing him to navigate complex legal landscapes and advise high-profile clients with discretion and impact. His contributions to Palestine’s legal infrastructure, in collaboration with many others, include serving on the Board of Directors of the Palestinian Center for Development and Media Freedoms (MADA) and helping to establish the Palestinian International Arbitration Chamber. He has also played a role in shaping public policy through involvement with the Central Election Committee, the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, and other prominent legal institutions.

Mr. H. Shabaneh earned his LLB from Beirut Arab University and a Master’s in International Law from the University of Alicante in Spain.
